Where contemporary kitchens are all about clean lines and minimal looks, traditional kitchens get their character through embellishment. This embellishment can be a simple quirk, a bead, the use of cornice and pelmet, even the suggestion of a framed door such as a shaker style door or perhaps a glazed dresser unit with a contrasting interior finish.
The use of natural products such as wood and stone feature heavily in traditional kitchens whether used for worksurfaces or for the doors, stone sinks or ornate tap ware are all signatures of the traditional kitchen.
Our partners produce variety of kitchens which can be used for traditional kitchens. The Finca door is a Solid Ash framed door with centre panel which is lacquered for a highly resistant wipeable finish. We display this one in our studio complete with walnut worktops and nicely glazed wall units. A traditional style with a contemporary twist is achieved with Bontempi’s Opera door.
The traditional kitchens we supply all have the bang up to date interior elements and mechanisms that you would expect.
