Houston Kitchen Specifications

We were approached by previous clients for their new property in Houston. With a young family and the kitchen very much being the hub of the home we were tasked with creating a large family space to live in. The final design involved combining the dining room, kitchen, utility and small study into one by removing all the dividing walls.

For the kitchen we chose handleless lacquered Sand Grey units combined with Virginia Oak accents and worksurfaces. The floor was completed in Pergo Vinyl click throughout to unify the space. Feature plaster bulkheads allowed for more lighting options on separate circuits and added interest.

The utility has a stacked washing machine and tumble dryer, hidden away in a tall cupboard. Our clients particularly liked the colour sorting tall unit which is located conveniently beside the washing machine. The utility also features a boiler housing, dedicated broom cupboard and additional larder storage.

Gideon Robinson was responsible for the complete build works which also involved removing three walls, existing patio doors and completing the exterior brick works to match the existing. We installed new radiators, full plaster throughout, renewed all the electrics and designed the new lighting circuits.
