Pollokshields Kitchen Specifications

A compact and beautifully formed kitchen in a Pollokshields conversion.

Our client's original kitchen felt heavy, dark and lacked worktop space. They wanted a lighter, more open feel to their kitchen with a style more in keeping with the traditional features elsewhere in the house.

They are keen cooks and their current kitchen did not provide the workspace or functionality required to enjoy the space as they hoped.

We opted for an updated easy clean shaker style front in two finishes with oak accents. The multifuncion back panels feature a range of organisational accessories which free up worktop space. The induction hob is much sleeker than the original gas hob and much easier to keep clean as well as being more controllable.

The Dekton Blanc Concrete work surfaces are by Cosentino and whilst they are scratch resistant and robust enough to allow hot pots to sit directly on them the 20mm thickness gives a much lighter and airier look to the kitchen.

As well as the shaker style drawer the Oak drawer pack with 6 individual oak pull outs and the Caple Belfast sink really add to this kitchen's nod to the traditional whilst still being modern and functional.
